A Mother's Love

Dear daughter of mine, I've loved you from the start,

Since the moment I knew, a treasure in my heart.

With your dad, we've strived to grant your every desire,

But sometimes, it seems, our efforts fall short and tire.

I wish to enter your thoughts, to understand your mind,

To navigate them gently, in harmony entwined.

For though we thrive, at times we clash and fight,

You're unhappy with choices, decisions we've made, right?

Yet remember, my dear, you're not alone in this space,

Two siblings you have, with love we also embrace.

You are not a victim, don't fall in the "middle child" trap, it's untrue,

For you're unique and special, in everything you do.

Value yourself, dear one, for your worth is immense,

But also, cherish our labor, our toil, our defense.

I plea and pray, avoid becoming entitled and spoiled,

Such paths lead to loneliness, their shine easily foiled.

Be grateful for blessings, forgive and let go,

Embrace little moments, let life's river flow.

Flexibility's virtue, please let's fight less,

Love your parents and siblings, an eternal caress.

My love for you knows no bounds, it's steadfast and true,

From this life to the next, I'll watch over you.

Remember, no one on Earth will love you as I do,

So embrace all that's offered, with a heart that's anew.

Gratitude, respect, and love in your heart,

Shall guide you through life, a triumphant art.

Enjoy the journey, embrace each day's gifts,

With compassion and kindness, your spirit uplifts.

My dear daughter, know this, forever you'll find,

A love that's unyielding, always intertwined.

In every step you take, I'll be by your side,

As you soar through life's tapestry, with love as your guide.

I love you infinity and beyond, Ashley 💓
